Norwich Rail Station Gets Broadband

BTOpenzone has teamed up with the Norwich railway station to offer commuters broadband wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) hotspot access while they wait:

Norwich is the first UK rail station to become a fully licensed Hotspot under the BT Openzone scheme and Ipswich station will follow on 16 September.

As a direct result of this scheme, BT has agreed to bring forward the upgrade of the south Ipswich Exchange. Allowing thousands of households and businesses around Ipswich to get broadband internet access.
