Posted: 07th Oct, 2003 By: MarkJ
NETStudent, a new UK ISP specifically designed for those still in education, has announced that it's preparing to launch sometime this month. The ISP plans to offer both broadband ADSL and unmetered dialup services:

NETStudent Preps the launch of the UK’s first student dedicated ISP!

After month’s of hard work, investment and development NETStudent the UK’s first student only ISP prepare to launch this month by offering lower cost Broadband and free call access to the student only market.

NETStudent is a new initiative built from the combined efforts of an already established UK Business ISP and student thinking. Our aim is to keep everything as simple, as easy and as cost effective as possible, allowing already financially struggling students to receive high quality and reliable Internet services all based around lower costs.

Over recent years the Internet has become a key tool in the lives of students, to research, communicate, socialise & shop. NETStudent brings together all of these features into a new light and allows our members to get the very best from the Internet without having to pay out vast amounts yearly for the privilege.

The brainchild behind NETStudent Matthew Williams, explained that lowering costs to suit the student market had been head racking to say the least, so many obstacles stand in the way when trying to reduce costs, getting the right balance of quality and cost has been extremely hard But by adopting our approach of removing the unnecessary extras and supplying just the fundamentals as well as learning from overnight ISP failures. We believe our approach will be a major success shaping the way forward within the ISP industry.

NETStudent will be offering its NO FUSS, NO HASSLE, NO LONG TIES, services to the student only market including two dial-up services and one broadband service along with various BOLT-ON’s from late October. And is currently accepting pre-registrations via its site at www.netstudent.co.uk
