It may only be 7th October, yet that hasn't stopped UK ISP
Freeserve announcing the roll-out of its '
Christmas Channel'. It's essentially a one-stop online shop for gift-buying:
With just two and a half months to go, the ISP is urging consumers to do their shopping online to "beat the Christmas rush on the high street".
It has added search tools to the channel to help users find gifts, or, they can browse three channels: 'Him', 'Her' and 'The Kids', with products divided into various tiers of pricing.
A 'Favourite Stores' section promotes gifts available on the high street in popular stores and Freeserve will from next week invite users to create a wishlist by "emailing Santa". The ISP will boost awareness of the channel with a viral game where consumers can play to win prizes on a daily basis. This years vast broadband uptake is also expected to help boost seasonal online shopping.
