Once again the UK broadband satellite ISP CentralPOINT has issued compensation to an unknown number of customers after their accounts were locked incorrectly:
Some of our customers had their accounts locked incorrectly, whilst this was no fault of Central Point we are making a compensation payment to each client that suffered through this error.
An amount of ten pounds will be credited to each customer that had their account locked incorrectly.
We have been supplying internet services since 1996 and believe in doing the right thing for our clients.
Its rare to see an ISP compensate customers once, let alone twice. No further details regarding the cause of the locked accounts were issued.
