The official website for
Liverpool Football Club (LFC) has teamed up with Energis to become the latest club to offer its own unmetered and PAY AS YOU GO (local call rate) dialup ISP service:
The new ISP, called LFC Internet, will offer fans LFC branded emails (@liverpoolfc.com) and webspace, while subscribers signing up to the unmetered service will get a free e-Season Ticket to watch goals, highlights and video interviews (worth just under £40 a year), plus unlimited internet surf time for a monthly fee of £15.99.
For users that spend less time on the internet, there is a metered service available, costing £3.99 a month and charged on a per minute basis. To correct the
netimperative.com news item, the metered service is a standard local call rate PAY AS YOU GO affair, the £3.99 charge has been confused with something else.
