ASDA Mobile's actually been in existence for a fair amount of time; actually almost 2 decades.
Connection: 'Piggybacks' (is a MVNO) off of Vodafone's network, which is often hit-or-miss depending on where you live. However, ASDA Mobile gets full access to its spectrum, with a 150mpbs cap applied to all plans. This isn't much of an issue for most people however.
It has WLAN calling and Voice over LTE, and a bonus is Visual Voicemail (iOS only).
Price: Has both pay monthly and PAYG plans. The cheapest PAYG is £4pm for unlimited texts and calls only. The unlimited plans hover somewhere around £20pm. This price point is very similar to other MVNOs.
Customer service: Usually very quick to respond. Has a freephone number and a contact form for other enquiries. Quite good at dealing with your problems.
Other amenities: eSIM has been added very recently which is good for convenience. Otherwise, not much else.
Overall, well-priced and reliable!
