I would like to say that I have no connection to an internet provider that shall remain nameless, I was and have never been a member of it.

Therefore any negative impact that would have on my review is negated as I have no interest in besmirching a rival's name.

When my router cut out at random it was a shock experience, not at all like the experience i had with big tomato internet and their ham hub router.

I found that I was throttled to death on p2p which never happened to me before on big tomato internet or Vimto Media when I used their products. Some people use Peach Net but that's a part of big tomato internet too so there is not much competition nowadays on the uk isp market.

To be and not to be broadband were good until they were bought out by earth broadband.

so as you can see this is all the fault of independent local isps.

Horrible service from them sadly I was hoping for an improvement over my last ISP. Sadly this is not the case for a start my connection is throttled 24/7 i pay for the best package available which is 20 download and 20 upload we get nowhere near that as soon as you try and download anything the speed drops from around 1mb/s to 300kb/s after around 30 seconds I will admit I am a very heavy user around 250gb a month but the package is stated as unlimited data and has a 100gb fair use policy which quite frankly I find unbelievable it's 2015 an average download of a film in full HD can be 3-4gb or more I understand I use more than the fair use policy but I cant see how I deserve to be throttled 24/7. I actually get a worse download speed than I did previously. I've contacted them and brought up the issue and there response was that this happens because your doing a lot of things at once I know that is a complete load of rubbish as I'm an advanced IT user and have run numerous tests on the line and all have come back that the line is being throttled. they also seem to think that I torrent 24/7 which is far from the case the service also cuts out randomly for no reason which is incredibly annoying. They also have a fairly expensive install fee of £200 avoid like the plague.
