I cannot rate Unchained ISP highly enough. From the day I placed the order, Keith has added a personal touch you just don't get with some ISP's. It's fair to say I've been through a few ISP's small and big so it's taken a while to find one that does exactly what I need.
Low latency, great throughput and very high uptime at a reasonable price. Having constant quality monitoring is a massive bonus too. Top-notch ISP, Highly recommend!

I don't generate a lot of traffic and it's early days yet, but startup went smoothly and without any hitch.

Great support from Keith who listened and engaged with all my concerns during the whole process. All the information I needed was given at the right time without dumping it on me in one go.

I definitely felt he would have been there to help if I'd had any problems.

Customer service is great, support are excellent as the ISP would check everything to make sure all things go smooth from UnchainedISP. Happy to rejoined this company.

Now switching over to SoGEA FTTC 80/20 all went smooth.

I've been with Unchained for a year and they are by far the most reliable and performant Internet service I've ever had. The FTTP ordering and install was excellent, as was the support with initial router configuration and connection. Sessions remain solid for months at a time with all stats available in their customer portal, far superior to that of my previous tv-bundled broadband package.
Customer support is amazing: I think the tickets I've raised have been responded to, usually by Keith, in about 10 minutes.
All this at very reasonable price for a package that includes a static IP on a reasonable contract term.
If you rely on high quality, stable Internet access for work (like I do) then Unchained are definitely the way to go.

If it wasn't for ISP Review, I would've never come across Unchained ISP and I couldn't be happier that I've signed a contract with them.

Customer service was superb from Day 1 - responses were timely and detailed. Keith is great to work with.

After some slight confusion around configuring my Netgear Orbi RBK753 with the service (no VLAN tagging if using the Openreach modem) -- the PPPoE session authenticated successfully and the sync speeds are awesome.

DL 329.6 Mbps / UL 49.9 Mbps which translates to a 'real-world' speed of about 5 Mbps less - though this is a reflection of my home network setup, thick walls and using a wireless backhaul only.

Coming from regular FTTN/C services from BT and Vodafone, the speed boost has been a boon.

Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

I remember the days of ringing BT/Sky/Virgin Media and explaining that I had anything other than a basic open their box and plug it in network and being told that it was my fault the internet wasn't working. Even when a car was stuck in the relay box at the end of the road taking out all the phone lines to the street.

Unchained couldn't be more different. Got a slight speed dip over listed? They're on the docs and forums for your gear, with you, finding solutions and getting you what you pay for.

Switched my G.fast 330/50 service to Unchained after poor performance and reliability issues with my previous, supposedly reputable, ISP.

So far (after six days) the service has been rock solid and extremely fast - a very noticeable improvement over my previous provider.

I did have a minor issue with DNS/IPv6 when I first connected but this was very quickly resolved by Keith, who appears to work all hours and knows his stuff.

I recently moved to a new place which unfortunately a certain major high-speed ISP does not provide a service to, and I thought I'd be stuck with a maximum ~70Mbit connection as is standard (fine for general use but as someone who works from home in a media company, downloading and uploading large files happened not just daily but hourly).

But refusing to just give up there, I did my research, checking all of the major suppliers and contacting probably 6 or 7 smaller companies about the possibility of a faster connection. Of the replies I got, most just told me nothing could be done -- 70 was the max.

But then I spoke to Keith at Unchained ISP, who told me straight away about their Bonded service -- they provide you with two dedicated broadband lines of the usual 70 each, and a special router (Firebrick) which merges those two lines. The result is double the normal speed, around 140Mbits download and about 30 upload! Not only that but any issues I've experienced so far (which were related to Openreach hardware issues) were responded to almost immediately by Keith, who continued to troubleshoot with me into the evening. He also responds on weekends, which is great for someone who is usually busy on weekdays!

I am so happy to say Unchained is my ISP, especially coming from the big companies to whom you are just a customer number.

Keith responded very quickly and managed to resolve issues with openreach after a botched installation. I doubt these issues would've been sorted if I hadn't had such good 1 to 1 support. Great client portal shows some useful connection stats and a sync speed history.
