Highly recommended. Had an issue where the previous owner of the property we moved into hadn't closed their account. For some reason this left me unable to take control of the ONT for the fibre connection. Keith sorted a temporary solution and has now sorted it completely. Reading online its not uncommon for other ISPs to not connect customers facing this issue so it was great to have chosen one where the issue was sorted so efficiently. Response times for customer support are amazing.

I've been with Unchained for many years, after being with many of the 'big guys' (Virgin Media, TalkTalk, Plusnet, Sky).

I've been with them through multiple house moves and different connection types. They have always been rock solid, reasonable with their pricing (no introductory deals and then cranking up the price later), and have incredible customer support! Got to be the best out there! The team is always very responsive and helpful, going above and beyond!

They are the only ISP I've ever had where 'it just works', and I don't have to worry about it. Working from home, it's very noticeable that while all my colleagues are often dropping off video calls 'due to internet issues', that has never once happened to me (although this does have the downside that I can't get out of meetings!).

They are just a great, no nonsense ISP that is focused on doing the right thing for the customer, and providing an outstanding service.

No doubt, this is the best ISP out there. Went for FTTP 330/50 as Keith always check to ensure everything go well. No mess around. This is probably the best ISP in UK as you can't go wrong with UnchainedISP.

Keith is very professional knowedge of broadband technical support.

You might think value is so expensive with this ISP but you won't regret it.

I was recommended UnchainedISP when looking for a solution for static IP addressing for my business located in a shared office facility.

I had a unique challenge, where the shared office facility provided an internet connection to me, however this was NAT'd and a single egress IP was shared amongst many customers.

I had a requirement for static addressing that my office provider could not satisfy so I started looking at options available on the market, I had heard through other business owners that this was something UnchainedISP could offer if I reached out.

After emailing their support Keith got back to me within just a couple of hours and, after a few queries about my existing hardware, was able to provide a way forward that perfectly satisfied my requirements (with static IPv6 addressing too!, although not required, it was included in the service).

I have had no issues with the service provided from UnchainedISP, and have since recommended them to other people and businesses I work with.

I moved to Unchained ISP at the beginning of 2024 when Eclipse rebranded and stopped offering competitive services. Keith was able to transfer my service seamlessly. Being in a rural area and working and running a business from home I required the best connection feasible. Unchained provided this by providing a bonded FTTC which has met our needs until FTTP has become available(at last!) The transition to FTTP with Unchained was as I expected. Straightforward, fast and great value. I would thoroughly recommend Unchained ISP for outstanding customer service and good value products.

I have been an unchainedisp customer for a number of years now, utilising a number of their different services, from their cheaper packages, to their top-tier packages and more recently to a bespoke solution tailored to me.

I have always found the team there excellent to deal with, quick to respond, passionate about what they do, extremely knowledgeable and really helpful even with things that I think most ISPs would consider beyond their remit, for instance providing assistance with configuration of routers which not only are not provided by them, but are certainly classed as more enterprise level equipment.

Further I have found them to be very honest about what service I require, not trying to drive me with a constant upsell, but helping me tailor a package to my actual consumption as well as helping me reassess this when my family situation changed to ensure everyone in the house can continue to game happy. with low latency. Really, that's all that matters, right?

I took out a 12-month contract with Unchained ISP and was happy with their service. The package I went for is on the expensive side but I wanted a stable hassle-free connection and got exactly this. Keith from their support team was very responsive. I would have stayed with this ISP but the service was too expensive for what our home broadband is generally used for.

We moved house in the middle of 2025 but couldn't migrate our Gigaclear service (excellent for nine years – no downtime and consistent high speeds; highly recommended) to the new property. The only choice was an Openreach fibre connection so using ISPreview I sought out a new ISP.

Emailed four choices with relevant questions (migration time, actual expected speeds, IP allocation and so on). All four came back but Unchained provided the most comprehensive answers as well as other relevant suggestions. They also noted the migration time could be as little as 48 hours whereas others were quoting up to 14 days. They also provided detailed information to pass to our vendor to ensure the service could go live asap.

All this tipped the balance to Unchained and I was happy to sign up with them. As we know, the process of getting a property sale/purchase never runs smoothly so we ended up exchanging and completing within five days of each other. This didn't phase Unchained and we were amazed to have a working broadband service by 7pm of the day we moved in.

The service since has been exemplary. Customer support is immediate and the speeds are what we would expect. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for an Openreach fibre connection, expert knowledge and superb support. You get what you pay for – they are not the cheapest but definitely the best I've used in 30 years.

Migrated from a certain red ISP and could not be happier.

As a wholesale reseller Unchained only offer what is available from other network owners in your area.
I moved from 1000/100 Mbps from the red devil down to a 80/20 Mbps SoGEA (58/20 Mbps in practice), and it was not an easy decision.

But I needed a service that actually worked. So after emailing and inquiring about what was available around me, Keith replied and quite simply he has been the nicest and most helpful person I have ever spoken to for any service ever.

A single static IPv4 and /48 IPv6 address as standard with the option to add a /30 routed IPv4.

Keith talked through every option available and just made it easy and it was sorted. An Openreach subcontractor was booked and the line was connected. My PTR records and IPv6 delegation was all sorted quickly as well.

I wont comment too much on my package as, at the end of the day, it's Openreach SoGEA, I'm reasonably close to the loom box so the speed is reasonable, and ofc it's rock solid. The price is effectively market value (which I think is overpriced, but it is everywhere you go, nothing to do with Unchained)

Quite simply, outstanding customer service.
And as of writing this review Unchained are #1 in the Top 10 and I can see why.

I recently migrated my internet service over to unchained and my expectations have truly been exceeded. Available bandwidth as advertised, IPv6 with a delegated /48, a massive decrease in latency over my legacy broadband provider and most importantly a consistent and stable internet connection.

As a network engineer by profession, I have used many different ISP's over the years and can honestly say Unchained is right at the top of the list. For the technical folks, you'll really enjoy being able to make use of your own equipment and for those less technical, unchained can walk you through the setup as required.

If you are thinking about changing your ISP, look no further. Unchained are a huge step above the competition for a great price.
