I used Aquiss for over 10 years until I switched recently. They were/are generally a good ISP. The connection was fast and stable and they are good value-for-money. Their support is UK-based and generally helpful.
I switched because I was messing around in my router settings and disabled custom DNS resolvers and noticed that the ones that Aquiss assign to their customers via PPPoE are 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8. Those are Google and Cloudflare's public DNS servers. I'm not happy about my ISP quietly sending my DNS traffic to Google and Cloudflare.
I contacted Aquiss to get their take on the matter and was told that they used those resolvers because "they are the industry standard." I felt like that was a pretty poor justification and rather than argue the toss I decided to vote with my wallet.
If you are fine with Google and Cloudflare's track record, and are fine with the UK's increasing reliance on American Big Tech companies, then this is probably going to be a non-issue.
