Mobile provider and ISP Orange UK (France Telecom) looks set to become the first operator to bundle subsidised Apple Macbook laptops with its Mobile Broadband product and services.
Mobile Today reports that the deal is currently still being finalised but should be completed in time for a new raft of summer products.
The bundles are likely to come with the usual hefty 24-month minimum contract term, while the laptop itself will not be "
free" and will incur an additional charge (Apple's Macbooks tend to be significantly more expensive than your average cheap-o Netbook).
However rumours are also circulating that Apple might introduce a new Netbook of its own sometime later this year, which would put Orange in the perfect position to bundle that too.
