Oxford-based business ISP and managed wide area networking (Wi-Fi) reseller,
CI-Net, has completed the acquisition of Interdart, a rival provider, as part of its ongoing acquisition drive. The addition of Interdart's customer base will give CI-Net a combined total of 2500 active customers.
“Despite the downturn, we believe there are still opportunities out there. The Interdart deal is part of a proactive growth strategy in which we’re seeking targeted acquisitions to increase market share and enhance our ability to provide value and quality to customers,” explained Matthew Hare, CEO of CI-Net’s parent company, Community Internet Group Limited.
CI-Net also added that future acquisition targets would continue to come from the UK business ISP sector. It's understood that the provider is already talking to a number of companies about such a move.
