Business ISP Avenir Telecom has teamed up with Opal ( TalkTalk ) to offer its business broadband package. The deal allows Avenir to sell Opal's Premium Grade broadband service to businesses, which offers speeds of up to 24Mbps (1Mbps upstream), a 100GB monthly usage allowance, bandwidth prioritisation, a router, static IP address and more from just £10 +vat per month.

The package itself has been around since February and is delivered via TalkTalk's unbundled (LLU) network. Those considering the package should note that there's also a 24 month minimum contract period and £30 connection fee to consider. Curiously we could never find mention of what the service's crucial contention ratio is, not even in the small print (proper business services should be 20:1, while most consumer products sit around 50:1).
