The trading brand names of two UK broadband ISPs acquired by
Timico in recent months, KeConnect and Twang.net, will be changed to Timico. Timico hopes that the move will make its brand stronger and provide some key service enhancements to all of its customers (e.g. extended opening hours for the Technical Customer Service team and new online portals etc.).
“By combining all three companies under one brand name, it allows us to achieve a strategic aim to further increase the value of our business. With a wider ranging IP network, we can now further leverage our market leading converged services and grow the business to become the UK’s leading supplier of high quality, business strength IP solutions, backed by exceptional personal customer service. This re-branding will still mean ‘business as usual’ in terms of providing our customers and Business Partners with a first class customer experience.” says Chris Tombs, Chief Executive of Timico.
Timico adds that the consolidation has enhanced their network to a tier 1 capacity level, and widened the range of services provided.
