Mobile operator Vodafone UK has enhanced its existing Mobile Broadband packages to include a new 6 month contract option that costs from £15 per month and includes 3GB (GigaBytes) of monthly data usage allowance; extra usage costs £15 per 1GB.

However there's a catch; you still have to pay a one-off fee £29 for the USB Modem (Dongle), which usually comes free with 12 month or longer contracts. Vodafone claims to offer download speeds of up to 7.2Mbps, though real-world speeds are more likely to be in the 1 to 2Mbps range.

Presently Vodafone's website does mention the 6 month plan, yet fails to actually list the package itself. The announcement is new in our inbox so we expect their site to be updated shortly.
