UK ISP Andrews & Arnold ( AAISP ) appears to have had enough of the problems they've been experiencing with their BT 21CN + 20CN lines and has instead signed a contract to provide broadband access using the BE network ( Be Broadband / O2 ) via cheaper unbundled ( LLU ) connections.
AAISP commented:
"This will allow us to provide an alternative to BT routed broadband lines where everything from the exchange equipment right back to the link in to us is separate from BT. This is not available in all exchanges but is expected to cover around 80% of the population.
We plan to launch a range of new packages to use this service shortly including bonding and fall-over high availability dual line broadband solutions using BT and BE lines together."
AAISP will begin trials of the new service / lines today and is expected to achieve a full launch before the end of September. Interested customers are asked to contact the ISPs sales line and can find more details here:
