Mobile operator Three (3) UK has cut the cost of its new Mobile Wi-Fi device (aka - MiFi). This is essentially a battery powered wireless router that has been designed to distribute the operators Mobile Broadband ( 3G ) service over a Wi-Fi link and was first revealed at the beginning of August (
here).
The wireless modem now costs just £49.99 upfront on the '
Broadband 5GB 1 Month' deal, down from £69.99. The package includes 5GB of data for just £15 a month. You can also save £30 on the
3GB MiFi Ready-to-Go kit (for an upfront cost of £69.99, you'll get the wireless modem included, plus 3GB of data to use over 3 months).
To top it off, MiFi is now also available on Pay As You Go (PAYG). Get the wireless modem for just £49.99 so you can top-up as you go.
