Mobile and broadband operator O2 UK has fended off competition from rival ISPs PlusNet and the
Utlilty Warehouse to be named Best Technology Services Provider at the 2010 Which? Awards last night. Each of the shortlisted companies provide several technology services, such as mobile phone services, home phone, broadband and TV.
O2 was recognised by Which? for its standalone broadband and mobile phone services and for performing consistently well across the magazines customer satisfaction surveys. It was also the only broadband provider to be rated as five stars out of five for value for money.
Which? CEO, Peter Vicary-Smith, said:
"To win a Which? Award, not only must a company offer outstanding products or services, it must also deliver exceptional value and a great customer experience. O2 is a deserved winner of this year’s Which? Award for Best Technology Services Provider."
O2 can probably add that to its awards pile for this year. The 2010 uSwitch broadband customer satisfaction report rated O2 the overall winner after it came top in 10 out of 11 categories, with 92% of its customers being satisfied. Likewise they also took 1st place in a recent J.D. Power and Associates 2010 ISP Customer Satisfaction survey.
