Broadband ISP PlusNet has, at no extra cost, boosted the maximum internet download speed of its budget £6.49 per month 'Value' package from 'up to' 8Mbps to 20Mbps. The change applies immediately for new customers, while existing users will receive the boost as part of a phased upgrade (your local telephone exchange must also support it).

The Value package also comes with a 10GB monthly data usage allowance and a free wireless router worth £40, when taken with a 12 month contract (+£25 activation fee). It is currently under a special offer until the end of August that will give you 3 MONTHS OF FREE service when you first subscribe.
