One of the markets more reliable ISPs, Zen Internet UK, has today expanded its range of internet service options with the launch of a new phone calls and line rental product - Home Talk and Business Talk. Home broadband customers can now add basic telephone line rental, on one bill, to their package from £10.99 inc. VAT per month.

Sadly Zen has not launched any special broadband and phone bundles alongside its service, although Zen Home Talk Plus is also available with 1000 anytime inclusive call minutes from just £16.99 per month. Both are easily added to the ISPs existing broadband packages.


One crucial difference between Zen's phone service and many of their rivals is that it comes with a single 1 month contract instead of the usual 12 month commitment.

The result is that home customers can now indirectly bundle Zen's broadband and phone services from £28.98 inc. VAT per month, which would include the basic line rental service, download speeds of up to 20Mbps (1Mbps uploads), a 1 month contract, 10GB monthly usage allowance (unlimited uploads), free migration, a static IP address, 2GB web space, email (anti-virus) and more.

We note that Zen Business Talk also costs from £13.49 +vat per month or £19.99 +vat if you want it with 500 anytime inclusive call minutes.
