Mobile operator Three (3) UK has come top in Broadband Expert's 2010 Mobile-Broadband Awards, which rated the operator as the Best Overall Mobile Broadband Provider after it supposedly excelled in the three key categories of speed, coverage and customer satisfaction combined with having some of the lowest prices.

However, in terms of individual awards, Three (3) managed to win 'Best Overall Provider', 'Best Coverage' and 'Best Laptop Bundle'. T-Mobile actually came top for 'Best Customer Satisfaction' and 'Fairest Pricing', while Vodafone won 'Fastest Actual Speed'.

During July 2010 Three (3) also came top in YouGov's latest study of over 2000 UK Mobile Broadband consumers by managing to best its rivals to come TOP in 10 out of the 12 service quality categories. This is a huge turnaround from when Three (3) was known as the cheapest, yet also slowest, UK Mobile Broadband operator.
