ISP BT Retail UK has slashed the monthly rental price of its top triple-play (broadband, TV and home phone) service bundles. In particular its '
Unlimited TV, Broadband and Calls' deal has now dropped from £48.99 per month to just £39.99 (+line rental from £9.49), which makes for a saving of £108 per year.

The biggest sticking point here is likely to be BT's 24 Month contract period, other than that the offer itself looks set to continue until 28th January 2011. Customers who take up the deal before the end of October should also receive a free
£25 Gift Voucher for use in any
John Lewis store across the UK.
In addition, BT recently promised to upgrade customers of both packages to
BT-Infinity, the company’s 'up to' 40Mb FTTC fibre optic based "
super-fast" broadband service, for no extra monthly cost when it becomes available in their area.
