A UK based broadband Satellite provider,
Avonline, has told its customers not to expected a price rise as a result of January 2011's forthcoming 2.5% increase in
Value Added Tax (VAT).
Craig Roberts, Avonline’s Broadband Services Manager, said:
"We are very pleased to announce that we will not be passing on the 2.5% VAT increase to our Avonline Tooway customers in January. We are committed to offering the best possible price to our customers so we have decided not increase our prices at this time.
Our current offer of our standard package at just £19.99 per month service charge is proving to be very popular and we’ve seen a surge in uptake. We hope to keep the offer open until the end of the year providing we have sufficient systems available. I advise potential customers to check our web site for availability of the special offer."
The £19.99 inc. VAT per month package, which charges
£649 for the hardware and installation, comes with download speeds of up to 3.6Mbps (384Kbps uploads) and a 2.4GB monthly usage allowance. The service is provided via Eutelsat's TooWay system.
