Cable operator Virgin Media UK has announced that its '
£50 off your first bill' discount offer is being extended from selected ISP bundles and will now also be available to new customers that take its dual-play bundles and standalone broadband deals.
At the time of writing Virgin Media had not yet updated its website to reflect the change, although we're informed that it should go live by the end of today. The discount combines with Virgin's existing
FREE Installation and reduced "
first 3 to 6 months of service" prices. Virgin Media also offers a range of cable broadband, phone, mobile and or TV bundles.
The cheapest deal starts at just £5 per month (+£12.99 for a Virgin Phone Line) and includes a 10Mbps broadband service with "
Unlimited downloads" (Traffic Management) and a free wireless N router with unlimited weekend calls to UK landlines and Virgin mobiles. Additional options with faster speeds (30Mbps, 50Mbps and 100Mbps) and more calls/tv services are also available.
