Popular ISP Be Broadband UK has today launched a
pre-registration programme for its future generation of "
fibre broadband" products, which will be based off FTTC technology and offer internet download speeds of up to 40Mbps (Megabits per second).
The news follows last week's move by BE's Managing Director (MD),
Chris Stening, to outline the ISPs future broadband service plans (
here). At the time Stening claimed that BE would ideally like to "
launch our service later this year".
