UK Internet Service Providers Association Appoints New ISPA Council Chair

The UK Internet Service Providers Association ( ISPA ) has officially appointed THUS Ltd's Regulatory Manager, Mark Gracey, as Chair of the ISPA Council. Gracey, whom has been involved with the association for over 10 years as Chair of the Liability Subgroup and later as a Council Member, is the ISPA's first new Chair in 10 years New Chair of ISPA Council, Mark Gracey, said:
"I look forward to working with the ISPA Council and our 200 plus members on issues facing the industry including the upcoming Communications Bill and on-going work around online copyright infringement. I would also like to thank my predecessor [Jessica Hendrie-Liaño, EMEA Legal Counsel at Bloomberg LP] for all her hard-work over the years and wish her all the best for the future."

Gracey has worked in the internet industry since 1995 and represents THUS on the IWF Funding Council, he is also a member of Nominet's .uk Policy Stakeholder Committee. The ISPA Chair is typically responsible for representing the trade association to the outside world and for leading development of its future policies.
