Bentley Walker UK Signs New Satellite Broadband Deal for Avanti HYLAS1 Services

A UK Satellite ISP, Bentley Walker, has announced a new deal with Hughes Europe that will see the internet provider expanding its range of services to include broadband packages from Avanti's latest HYLAS 1 (Highly Adaptable Satellite) spacecraft, which offers download speeds of up to 10Mbps to anywhere in the country.Anthony Walker, CEO of Bentley Walker, explained:

It's interesting to note that Bentley Walker already provides consumer satellite services via Eutelsat's competing KA-SAT platform, which offers download speeds of 6Mbps and a 4GB usage allowance (12GB until 30th September 2011) from just £24.99 per month. At the time of writing the ISP had not yet begun to offer any Avanti solutions.
