Internet provider Zen Internet UK has today posted the findings from a new survey of its superfast Fibre Optic Broadband customers, which found that 94% had recommended the service to a friend and 85% felt that their speed estimation had been met or even exceeded their expectations.

By contrast Ofcom's latest and more impartial 2011 Communications Market Report (CMR) discovered that the average consumer satisfaction with superfast broadband services is 80%, which is well above the 57% for traditional broadband.


Zen's Fibre packages use FTTC technology to deliver download speeds of 'up to' 40Mbps and upload speeds of 'up to' 10Mbps, although its prices are heavier than most and start at £27.60 inc. VAT per month (+£90.00 setup) for a meagre 10GB usage allowance. Quality at a price, but not everybody would be able to afford it.
