TalkTalk Business, the business and wholesale division of UK consumer broadband ISP TalkTalk, has lost its current Managing Director (MD),
Paul Lawton, after he "
decided to leave" and "
pursue opportunities outside the business".
In a prepared statement TalkTalk said that Lawton had "
played a pivotal role" in the operators development over recent years and left the ISP with their "
best wishes for the future". Still it didn't take long for the provider to find a successor,
Charles Bligh, whom will join as the new MD in mid-November 2011.
Bligh is currently responsible for the Commercial sector at
IBM in the UK and is said to have a "
wealth of experience in the Business-to-Business space". He will report directly to Dido Harding, CEO of the TalkTalk Group.
