“Our 4G rollout is continuing at an industry-leading pace, reaching more and more people in places right across the UK. We’re connecting major towns to make sure that consumers, commuters and businesses have 4G where they live and where they work. As well as expanding our 4G network into new areas, our teams are switching on new 4G sites in our existing 4G cities and towns to make the EE network experience even better.”
It’s worth pointing out that EE’s “double speed” (up to 150Mbps) 4GEE service is also now available across 20 UK cities including Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Derby, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Sheffield, Southampton, Sunderland, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, West Bromwich and Wolverhampton. A boost up to 300Mbps is also still being tested via LTE-Advanced technology (aka – true 4G).
Tariffs for the 4G service now start at just £13.99 per month.
