The Fastest Mobile Broadband Operator for London City Airport

A new RootMetrics study has attempted to identify the fastest UK Mobile Broadband operators for travellers making use of London City Airport (LCY). Unsurprisingly EE came top, delivering the fastest median download and upload speeds at 16.1Mbps and 26.2Mbps respectively.
The report fails to separate out 3G and 4G network performance (this is crucial since EE has a more mature 4G network than its rivals) and so as usual EE won the day, much as they did previously for both Heathrow and Gatwick airports. We note that the upload speeds for EE and Three UK were also both significantly faster than downloads.
