Over a week has passed since BT announced the revival of their BT Mobile brand for basic 30 day rolling SIM Only contracts with capped data allowances (here), which will only be available to BT’s Consumer broadband customers (unlimited data and handset bundles remain EE’s domain). But ISPreview has now managed to uncover more details of the provider’s mobile plans.
According to our sources, the full relaunch of BT Mobile – available both online and via calling (but not in their retail shops, where EE remains the focus, for now) – will take place this week on Wednesday 20th May 2026. As above, all of the new mobile plans will be 30-day rolling SIM Only deals and should also come with EU roaming at no extra cost, as well as access to common features like access to BT / EE’s public WiFi hotspots.
BT Mobile will include Scam Threat Protection features to notify you of nuisance calls before you answer (much like EE already does) and will initially only be available as physical SIM cards (no eSIM options, yet). In terms of the new mobile plans themselves, we understand that pricing will start at £9 per month for 10GB of data (mobile broadband), then £13 for 15GB, £15 for 30GB and finally £18 for 75GB.

Suffice to say the new mobile plans aren’t going to set the market alight with any big surprises, but that was never the provider’s goal, and they’re also roughly in keeping with a lot of similar plans elsewhere, if admittedly not the cheapest. Further details are due to be released on the official launch.
