Telecoms provider EE has taken a leaf of their rivals book and added a £25 M&S voucher to any online orders of their cheap fixed line home broadband and superfast “fibre broadband” packages, which are currently being offered at half price for between the first 12 and 3 months of service.

Internet provider PlusNet has cut the cost of its up to 76Mbps unlimited superfast fibre (FTTC) and up to 16Mbps unlimited standard broadband packages to £12.99 and £2.99 a month respectively, which will apply for the first 9 months of service (returning to £19.99 and £9.99 thereafter).

BT Business has extended its 3 months free service offer to their up to 17Mbps capable standalone broadband packages when taken with a 24 month contract. The promotion was previously only available to those who took broadband alongside their line rental and free calls bundle.

Shropshire-based ISP Aquiss has begun offering free installation alongside their superfast unlimited “fibre” (FTTC) broadband packages, which will save new customers £96 inc. VAT off the normal retail price. A second discount is also added if you take their phone (line rental) service.

Internet provider TalkTalk has advised that its “Superpowered Fibre Broadband” (FTTC) service can now be taken alongside a new phone line or migration via one engineer installation and one go live date, which follows the July 2013 trial. The ISP has also launched its new half-price offers, which slashes the cost of fibre and standard broadband.

Mobile operator O2 UK (O24G) has finally revealed the price and package details for their new 4G (LTE at 800MHz) based Mobile Broadband network, which is due to go live on 29th August 2013. Unfortunately the new tariffs leave much to be desired, at least where data allowances are concerned.

EE (Everything Everywhere) have refreshed their entry-level fixed line broadband and weekend calls bundle by offering the service for 12 months at half price (i.e. £2.50 a month and then £5 thereafter). In addition, the old 3 months free service promotions on their other fibre packages have all now changed to half-price offers.

Customers taking one of TalkTalk’s broadband and phone bundles, which are currently being offered at half price or a discounted rate, can now add the up to 38Mbps Fibre Medium boost to their service free for the first three months (£10 thereafter) or the up to 76Mbps Fibre Large for £5 (£15 thereafter).

UK ISP TalkTalk are offering double the internet usage allowances across their various mobile phone tariffs, including their current half price SIM-only options. As a result tariffs at the cheapest end, which previously included just 100MB (MegaBytes) of data, now come with 200MB and those that came with 2GB (GigaBytes) now get 4GB.

Rochdale-based ISP Zen Internet has today slashed the installation cost of its up to 76Mbps (Megabits per second) capable Fibre-to-the-Cabinet (FTTC) based superfast broadband services for the United Kingdom by more than 50%.
