Despite recent results suggesting a possible loss of customers from its broadband Internet TV (IPTV) service, Tiscali UK has now said that it intends to target a total of 200,000 subscribers by the end of 2008.
The move will be backed up by a major advertising campaign that is due to commence during January 2008. Tiscali claims that it is currently adding roughly 250 new signups for the package per day and hopes to have 50,000 by the end of this year. That would put it just above the original level.
Tiscali's unbundled (
LLU) broadband network currently covers 55% of the country and is used by 2m broadband subscribers.
