The east coast rail firm GNER has pledged to Wi-Fi enable its entire fleet of trains by 2007! The news follows a successful trial:
Within five months of its tenth train entering service, take-up of Wi-Fi in first class rose by almost fifty per cent, while in standard class usage figures increased by 54 per cent in the same period.
The company plans to have every train fitted by May 2007, offering first class passengers the service for free, while standard class customers will have to pay a minimum of £2.95 for 30 minutes.The
