NTL's Broadband Subscriber Growth

NTL has managed to increase its UK broadband subscriber base from 1,330,300 at the end of 2004 to 1,443,200 at the end of Q1-2005. Interestingly unmetered dialup users grew from 167,600 to 202,000 for the same period.
The sudden growth in NTL's unmetered dialup subscribers is unusual because it had been on a gradual decline for much for 2004. Unsurprisingly metered dialup continued to fall from 579,500 to 486,500.
