DigitalSpy reports that NTL has made a deal with Radialpoint to provide free anti-virus software to all its customers. The news follows a recent agreement with Openwave to bolster its server-side security as well:
The program, to be known as NTL Netguard, will launch in the third quarter of this year. At launch, it will provide protection from viruses in emails and on websites, in addition to containing a pop-up blocker, form-filler, and privacy manager. Over time, Netguard will be expanded to include a firewall, an anti-spyware program, and a parental control system.
