ISP BISCit has announced a new home broadband product called 'VOSky Chatterbox', which offers free calls and conferencing to friends and relatives over Skype, PeerMe and voice IM platforms:
A stylish, mouse-sized squawk box, Chatterbox eliminates the need for pc headsets, microphones and speakers. Once installed, it enables friends and relatives within a 4-metre radius of a desktop/laptop to enjoy hands-free, full-duplex, no-echo Internet chats with other broadband users. Chatterbox also cancels out background noise.
"Chatterbox raises the bar in broadband communications," says Mike Edwards, BISCit Home's marketing director. "It unglues people from a screen, and brings all the convenience of hands-free operation and the zero cost of Internet calls to friends and families whatever their location."
Chatterbox is a high quality sound product with full-duplex audio, DSP-enhanced sound, and voice echo cancellation. Designed for Windows 2000/XP, it requires no software or special drivers - just plug it in to any USP port. It has a number of intuitive communications features including automatic volume control and one-one private chat mode. Chatterbox is FCC and CE approved and comes with a full two years manufacturer's warranty.
Chatterbox retails at £24.99 per unit, inclusive VAT. P&P in addition. Order at http://www.biscithome.com .
