UPDATE: Bulldog has also temporarily removed its "Best consumer broadband ISP 2004" logo at the ISPA's request. Bulldog's chief commercial officer, Andrew Morley, has responded to
ISPA concerns about its customer support with assurances that things are getting better:
Although ISPA declined to comment on what assurances it had received from Bulldog, a spokesman told us: "We have been assured things are getting better. We've been assured that actions are being taken to make them better and that these will happen quickly."
El Reg has learned that Bulldog is on the verge of opening two new contact centres to cope with the high number of calls from customers.
A spokeswoman for Bulldog told us: "Bulldog takes these customer complaints very, very seriously. We are working to rectify these problems and putting lots of steps in place to make things better."Sadly the number of complaints we receive continues to increase, with nobody having yet seen any improvements. It's unclear how long it will be before we can expect a change. More @
