Wanadoo has been talking positively about the prospects of local loop unbundling (
LLU) for over a year now, which makes news of their first trial in Leeds a little unsurprising. The ISP plans a month long broadband pilot that will involve 500 users linked up to three exchanges.
Details of the trial remain unknown, although we expect to have some idea of
Wanadoo's direction by the end of the year.
