Pipex's Summer Broadband Deals

Posted: 02nd Aug, 2005 By: MarkJ
Surfers who sign-up during August can choose between two of PIPEX’s most popular products - Lite 2000 (5GB cap) or Solo 1000 - from as little as £9.99 per month for a limited period:

Lite 2000 5GB is a superfast 2 Mb service for fast downloading with a limit of 5GB of downloads per month. That’s around 11 full-length films, 2,340 audio tracks or 3,275 photos. Customers signing up for this service during August will pay just £9.99 per month for two months, and then a highly competitive £23.44 a month thereafter.

Alternatively, Solo 1000 is fast enough for almost all broadband needs and with absolutely no cap on usage. New users are being offered this service for just £14.99 per month for three months and then £23.44 a month thereafter.

On top of this, PIPEX offers free set up and a free modem and microfilters, representing a further saving of over £80.

Moreover, surfers looking to move their broadband service from an alternative provider (following the formal ISP Migration process) and who do not need the free modem will receive one of the offer months for free instead.

Customers will also automatically become members of the PIPEX Xtras loyalty programme. Points are earned just by having a PIPEX broadband service and can be exchanged for a range of exciting rewards.

As well as full details of all summer offers, http://www.PIPEX.com features great deals on all sorts of technology including MP3 players, plasma screen TVs, mobile phones and digital photo printers. The site will also keep you up to date with the latest news, travel, weather and much more.

Comprehensive security packages are also available for low additional fees via PIPEX’s partner company ZoneLabs. Customers can purchase firewall and anti-virus protection for just £5 per year, or upgrade to a complete peace of mind product for just £29.95 per year.

We always hate the examples providers pluck, sometimes seemingly from thin air, when attempting to explain bandwidth consumption. For example, where does Pipex get “around 11 full-length films” from for a 5GB cap? You're more likely to get half that.
