Readers of ISP Review will be no strangers to hearing about
Bulldog's ongoing problems, mostly customer service and support related ones (no communication, missing upgrades/migrations, inability to cancel and billing problems etc.).
The good news is that
Bulldog has finally issued a response, although those still suffering difficulties are unlikely to feel put at ease:
A Bulldog spokeswoman, "Our service is in great demand and, rightly, people have big expectations of what it will deliver," she said.
"Getting the delivery of broadband right for each customer is complex and is affected by many factors including the location of the customer and the co-operation of multiple partners, so we do receive a lot of requests for information from our customers about their specific circumstances. We are building up customer service resources rapidly to ensure we can handle all calls satisfactorily within an acceptable time limit," the spokeswoman added. From reading our own forums it's clear that there are also many users whom enjoy the service, although it's easy to say that when you're actually getting one and provided you don't require customer support =).
Sadly such problems are nothing new to
Bulldog, which ran into similar difficulties last year. It's more than shameful that they haven't been able to prevent it from happening again. More @
