ADSLGuide reports that BT Retail has raised the broadband usage allowance on all of its products while also making the service more flexible to users whom
occasionally exceed their monthly quota. The new allowances are as follows:
BT Broadband Basic £17.99 / 1GB (old) - 2GB (new)
BT Broadband £24.99 / 15GB - 20GB
BT Yahoo! Broadband £26.99 / 15GB - 20GB
BT Yahoo! Broadband £29.99 / 30GB - 40GB
We have improved our approach to usage guidelines, meaning you are free to use your broadband without the fear of being limited or charged.
From now on, if you occasionally exceed your monthly usage guideline there will be no need to worry, as you'll be able to continue using the service as normal for the rest of the month without any restrictions or additional charges.Details -
