Though some may still believe broadband in the UK to be too expensive, think yourselves lucky because you might have grown up in Borat's (fictitious comedy character) home country of Kazakhstan.
The Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) has revealed that an "unlimited" dialup (narrowband) package costs roughly 82 per month for residents of Kazakhstan.
Sadly it doesn't get any better for a country where the official average monthly wage is 292, with an "unlimited" 1.5Mbps xDSL broadband connection setting you back a mere 2,458 per month.
Think that's horrendous? Then how about a 6Mbps cable broadband link - YES PLEASE! That'll be just 16,144 per month.
