The Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) has revealed that an "unlimited" dialup (narrowband) package costs roughly €82 per month for residents of Kazakhstan.

Sadly it doesn't get any better for a country where the official average monthly wage is €292, with an "unlimited" 1.5Mbps xDSL broadband connection setting you back a mere €2,458 per month.

Think that's horrendous? Then how about a 6Mbps cable broadband link - YES PLEASE! That'll be just €16,144 per month.
