ISP V Two One (
V21) has slashed the cost of its technical support service by 50%, with customers now paying 50p per minute for the company's 24-hour telephone service instead of £1:
The ISP is dedicated to offering customers the very best prices on the market without compromising on the quality of the service. V Two One's migration to Telefonica enabled it to offer the most competitively priced broadband packages on the market, starting from as little as £16.99 a month, forcing other ISPs to follow suit and drop their prices. The services offered by V Two One all have unlimited bandwidth with no download or port restrictions in place with V Two One pledging never to enforce such restrictions on their users.
V Two One also offers its customers the very best in customer service, including staff that are on hand to answer enquiries and an online internet assistant, including valuable online troubleshooting advice via the members area of its website.
V Two One Managing Director Steve Kaye commented, "At V Two One we are committed to providing the best and cheapest deal for broadband and it is logical that our technical support should be the same. It is all about putting our customers first."Sadly far too many providers charge excessive sums for customer support, which becomes a questionable practice when such services suffer serious technical difficulties (making money from misery).
50p is a clear improvement over £1, although local call rates (0845) and ppm (price per minute) charges up to 25p have typically been more acceptable with consumers.
