The South China Morning Post newspaper has carried further details of PCCW's (UK Broadband) future plans. The group plans to invest roughly £21m in UK broadband wireless services.
A total of 900 base stations would eventually be set up around Britain; the newspaper quoted Deputy Chairman Jack So as saying on Monday.
Sadly no specifics regarding the service itself have been revealed (other than the existing UKB options), although last week it was reported that a full national rollout had been abandoned.
