Nildram Closes Own Newsgroups

Posted: 31st Jan, 2005 By: MarkJ
ISP AOL UK was not the only provider to give Newsgroups (Usenet) the boot from its servers last week, Nildram has done the same. From 1st February users will have to get their access through Giganews:

The new service will be supplied through Giganews and requires our customers to re-configure their News browser. This change requires our customers to enter their full ADSL broadband (@gotadsl.co.uk) or Dialup (@nildram.co.uk) username and password into their News browser.

ADSLGuide carries the full announcement HERE.
