Organised by magazine publisher Future Publishing - the home of leading Internet titles such as .net, Internet Works and Internet & Broadband Advisor - the Future UK Internet Awards 2004 were voted for by more than 30,000 UK web users.
The accolade reflects an exciting period of growth for UKFast, which saw turnover increase by 95 per cent in 2004. The companys web design team.built up an exciting portfolio of clients and partners from Littlewoods, the Co-Op and The Australian High Commission to Cardiffs Millenium Plaza shopping centre and Sale Sharks Rugby Team.
Paul Douglas, Editor of .net magazine says: In our first category Best Business ISP - we were looking for an Internet Service Provider that gives its business customers excellent connectivity at an attractive price, while offering top-notch after-sales service and an attractive range of additional services. Voters agreed that UKFast fulfilled all these criteria.
Lawrence Jones, Managing Director of UKFast is delighted: UKFast offers a premium service at affordable prices and winning the Best Business ISP award reaffirms what we work so hard to achieve. Its a tremendous pat on the back from both UK web users and industry professionals alike.
He adds: To win the top category and displace last years winner, Pipex who are a well-established outfit, is a credit to the team here at UKFast. After all, what better way to celebrate UKFasts 5th Birthday, than with a convincing victory as leaders in our field!
A tier one hosting company, UKFast consistently ranks amongst the top ten fastest bandwidth providers in the country and works closely with clients to create bespoke solutions that meet their precise e-business needs. Launched in 1999, the company's turnover has seen a steady year-on-year increase of around 20 per cent hosting web sites for high profile clients such as Littlewoods, Sale Sharks Rugby Club and the Australian High Commission.
