V Two One's (
V21) ISP customers have been experiencing all sorts of problems since Biscit's sudden takeover last week, yet the new owner is now attempting to put things right:
Telco and superfast broadband provider Biscit today announces that it is ceasing minimum contract terms on all residential broadband packages and bundles of
V21.co.uk Limited. The changes to
V21's standard trading conditions take effect immediately and apply to new residential orders.
Hugh Paterson, Biscit's and
V21's CEO, comments: "
Biscit is a customer-centric company with possibly the lowest churn rate in the industry. Having completed the acquisition of V21 last week, we believe V21's new customers should enjoy the same benefits as Biscit's residential customers."
Reports suggested that Biscit has had a hard time adapting to
V21's
ageing networks, which is not unexpected given such a swift takeover. Never the less this has resulted in users experiencing all manor of problems from lack of connectivity, to e-mail outages and problematic support.
Weve heard from Biscit that they are working to resolve the issues by installing new servers and replacing the Indian call-centre with one based out of London. The promises are strong, yet as with all things, customers can only be patient for so long.
