Easynet Connect (Sky) has launched a 30 working day installation pledge for businesses signing up to its SureStream and EtherStream (
LLU) wholesale broadband services. This is half the time of
BT's comparable 60 day promise and some will even be able to get connected within just 10 days.
They have also launched a free SMS alert service, which keeps customers updated with regular capacity and connection statistics and loss of service warnings within a second of an outage:
Chris Stening, managing director of Easynet Connect, commented:
Too many businesses receive poor service from their internet provider and our 30 day installation pledge and free SMS updates will help put an end to this. We are looking to reduce the installation times for all of our services and relying on our own un-bundled connections gives us greater control over our connections.
Our LLU network not only provides faster leased line equivalent services but allows faster install times as well. Our SMS service not only helps us get to the bottom of any outages quicker, but also helps users minimise the impact of a loss of service.
Easynet states that the pledge is set to be made available on other services in the coming months.
